Fire Effects Planning Framework

BACKGROUND

The Fire Effects Planning Framework leads users through a series of steps to estimate the risks and benefits from wildland fire across landscapes. This information can be used to:

  • help design fire and fuels management plans
  • identify areas on the landscape of highest priority for fuels treatment.

This research involves the analysis of landscape-scale fire patterns and the factors influencing these patterns.
