The exchange of ideas, expertise and experiences among and between scientists, managers and others interested in the application, the management and the stewardhsip of wilderness is intergral to the Leopold Institute's collaborations and partnerships. In support of this need, the Leopold Institute actively encourages and supports the hosting of scientists, managers, students and others with expertise in science and/or wilderness management who wish to learn, exchange ideas and share experiences about the use of science in the support of wilderness stewardship. Visiting experts may include academic faculty, agency scientists, federal or state land managers from the United States and other countries.
