Driving Directions to the Leopold Institute

The Leopold Institute is located on the University of Montana Campus in Missoula (to view click on map). Our building is located on the southern edge of campus at 790 E. Beckwith Avenue.

West Bound I-90:

1. Take Missoula's first exit onto van Buren Street, turn left from the exit ramp and merge into the right lane.
2. At the traffic light, turn right onto Broadway Street.
3. Move into the left lane, and turn left at the first stoplight, onto Madison Street.
4. On the Madison Street bridge, stay in the left lane, and veer left at the fork in the road onto Arthur Avenue. As you are veering left onto Arthur, immediately switch into the right lane as you head toward the traffic light. Drive straight through the traffic light, and continue south on Arthur Avenue until you reach the next traffic light at Beckwith Avenue. Make a left turn onto Beckwith Avenue. You will be heading east on Beckwith Avenue and the Leopold Institute building will be to your left on the 700 block of Beckwith. Our address is 790 E. Beckwith.

East Bound I-90:

1. Take Missoula's last exit onto Van Buren Street, Exit 105. Turn right at the stop sign and merge into the right lane.
2. Follow steps 2-4 from above.

From the Missoula County Airport:

1. Leaving the airport, turn right (east) onto Broadway Street.
2. Take the first left, which will lead you to the entrance of East Bound I-90.
3. Follow I-90 east and take Missoula's last exit onto Van Buren Street. Turn right at the stop sign.
4. Follow steps 2-4 from above.

From Highway 12 & 93 North:

1. Highway 12 & 93 become Brooks Street as they pass through Missoula. Follow Brooks Street southeast through Missoula to Higgins Avenue. Brooks merges left onto Higgins Avenue at Hellgate High School.
2. Be sure you are in the right lane before you turn onto Higgins. Once you're on Higgins, take the first right onto Sixth Street.
3. Follow Sixth Street for six blocks until you reach the traffic light at Arthur Ave. Take a right turn at the light onto Arthur Ave.
4. You will then drive south down Arthur Ave. until you reach the next traffic light at Beckwith Avenue. Make a left turn onto Beckwith Ave. You will be heading due east and the Leopold Institute building will be to your left on the 700 block of Beckwith. Our address is 790 E. Beckwith.
